Book Club News
January’s Book Choice: One Thousand and One Nights!
Also known as The Furrabian Nights, this classic is a magnificent collection of ancient Middle Eastern folk tales, translated into the Common tongue during the Islamic Golden Age. This collection explores a far-away culture and its folk stories. Normally priced at 4 silver, the book is on sale for the rest of the month at 2 silver! Meeting to discuss this book is scheduled for Saturday, January 27th at 6:00pm FST!

Seeking Travel Companion AND Shopkeep for the Summer!
I am seeking someone to travel the isle with me during the summer months, cataloging the flora of the isle. Must be fit to travel for a long period carrying equipment, sleep out in the open, and have either a working knowledge of or a desire to learn floral specimen collecting techniques. Inquire inside for pay.
I am seeking someone to manage the shop while I am cataloging the flora of the isle. Must be clean and friendly and submit to a background check. Must have prior experience in the maintenance of a shop and be of unquestionable character. Must be passionate about books and their upkeep. Must work at the shop for the entirety of March and April before being taught management during the month of May. Must be willing to work weekends. Must be willing to write detailed ledgers and weekly updates. Pay will be determined based on experience. Lodging will not be provided. Position may be held upon my return in September, with potential apprenticeship available depending on the state of the shop upon my return. Inquire inside.

Her garb is basic leather kept clean and sanitary, dyed dark as a personal preference. She has a black vest and black trousers that are capri-length, and leather boots that, given the weathering, have served their purpose well. The skin of her legs and arms is light-coloured but tanned by the sun. She has a gentle smile and hearty laugh, and although she isn’t intimidating, she could definitely hold her own.
