Character Sheets / Re: Doctor Rogan Sanguis

For starters, I'm not a staffer, but I like to think I help everynow and then with these inane comments. SO, I'd like to hear about the origin of undead minions mentioned. Zombies and revenants are alright, but considering the strict anti-necroturgy rites of Eileadora, I feel like Rogan must have pulled some crafty corpse acquiral methods or brought his ghastly minions with him.

Just a little tidbit to note, but yeah. Seems like the only issue is the phylactery location issue. The imag dreams have kind of baad history with liches that have unreachable soul containers, I tell ya...

Q&A / Re: Firearms
« on: September 07, 2016, 09:02:00 AM »

Anyway. I think the only reason someone would say a woman couldn't use a gun is because most prints and paintings of that time showed men as wielding them, not women, but there are records of a great many women that took up arms during conflict, including those that hid their gender to assist in wartimes. One such woman was Deborah Samson Gannet of Massachusetts who disguised herself as a young man in order to join the American Army. Another was Anna Maria Lane, who fought directly with Washington and his unit.

"Mulan" fables are quite common in ye olde times. Apparently, to preserve the honor of a crested family and having the main knight dad dead and no sons, a daughter or even a wife would don the armor and do some jousting and even straightforward battles, upon realizing this it was made a gesture of chivalry to lift up the visor of your helmet to friendly knights. Or well, one of the alleged reasons resulting to such a gesture (that was eventually transformed to tipping of a hat)

"Those women be making us manly men look bad HURDRHUR"

IMHO

In the realms of magical and infinite possibilities, the role of a god is downplayed. If a man can perform a miracle, deities only present a sphere of power and it'd be a good possibility that a god/deity/idol is a being of magical power way beyond normal comprehension.

Or.. It isn't a god that powers the cleric, it is their faith!

After getting his badge, Tom figured it was all official now. So followed by his recruitment was another letter with same wax seal. This time instead of chicken scritches resembling a handwriting, it was an actual official parchment.

And since the player sucks at writing up official documentaries, only TL:DR version can be found on the forum xD

TL;DR

Dem contracts says that while Tom is officially a member of ViperLily, for the duration of contract he is subject to all rights and responsibilities of a guard, so basically his position as a member of a private trading company is deemed null for the duration of contract, except in one case: If in a battle with hostile forces (siege, bandit raid, unnatural forces) Tom is allowed the priority looting rights right after the Sovereignity.
All wonderful keypoints right there, most of the contract is just filled with the necessary legal jargon to specify and RENDER null most looholes.

Also, there'll be two month "grace period" that when Tom wishes to terminate the contract, he still has to serve the additional 2 months or face legal consequences. Though if the other side wants to make him stop doing guard duties, they won't have to employ him for the grace period time.
A remnant extra thing for mercanaries wanting to switch to winning side in a war!

Delivered by the might of NPC guard, named Mannson to first person with authority to recruit. A parchment sealed with quite a fancy wax seal, the message sure looked important on the first glance so naturally the guard thought it was matter of grave importance and needed to be delivered. Even though the receiver was bit vague.

Most polite way to describe the handwriting that laid in the parchment would be.. apothecarian style. Very crude, messy handwriting that held no elegant form and was tad bit of hard to read due overslashing, scratching out typos and errors. Definately a code to cipher.

Thomas Eicheim

Furcadia Name:
Character Name:Thomas Mateline Eicheim
Aliases: "Boss","Bastard","Tom"
Species: Abomination (think Frankenstein)
Subspecies/Race/Class: Human
Age:Looks arond 30ish, age of existance: 3 years
Gender:Manliest of 'em all
Height: 7'1
Fur/Skin Color: "Desert tan"
Hair Color/Style: Black, just long enough to be pulled into a ponytail
Eye Color: Heterochromia (Is' a trend), one green and one blue-gray
Markings/Scars: Tiny scarred up nicks all over his body
Appendages: Normal assortment of appendages for a humanoid creature.

Demeanor:
Tom, on the first mpression, is abrasive, crude and loud person as his voice lacks indoor setting. He has tendency to boast and gloat and even has "showman" habit. Get past that and you have a man who likes food, drink, women and fights, has bad sense of humour and tends to laugh at silliest things.
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral
-He does what he wants, but he knows his actions have consequences so  breaking law or being downright evil person is a no-no unless he can get away with it along with personal benefits.
Profession: Merchant Marine

Resistances:
Among other things a normal musclebound human is resistant to, Tom naturally packs a high pain tolerance.
Weaknesses:
Mind affecting things; both in drug and spell variety.
Can't scratch his back properly.
Phobias:
Crying babies and one certain robed man known as "Death Monk"

Statistics:
Strength (STR):
-Ultrahigh! Tom's body is constructed with strength in mine, surpassing a normal human body in limits and letting him armwrestle an ogre (Though not a guarenteed victory)
Dexterity (DEX):
-Normal on fighter aspects, Tom can move his finger roughly where he wants to, but doesn't have enough hand-to-eye coordination to do delicate surgeries.
Constitution (CON):
-Great, Tom has stamina for days, can take hits like a boss and is never sick from common diseases.
Intelligence (INT):
-Specialized (bit below average), Tom is quick to learn on things he is interested to, sadly his interests are mostly on the ways of inserting a sharp object in another person. When things don't involve anything that allows him to be a better soldier or survive in the world, his intelligence can be viewed as low. Slow to learn and adapt to social things
Wisdom (WIS):
-Low, While Tom DOES have adamant will, he certainly lacks the wisdom of sages. If he happens to toss a wise line it is because he had heard it before.
Charisma (CHA):
-Low, Tom lacks the sculptured muscles as seen in statues, making him look less like an Adonis and more like a powerhouse of flesh. Add in his brash attidute and not so flattering approach and he is not the one to woo the public. Though some do find his barbarics charismatic.. maybe

Details:
Weapons
 Benevodon
-A broadsword with long hilt. Nothing special except it can be transformed into a twohander. The enhanced nature of this sword keeps the blade sharp, but that's it.. besides the little detail of transforming.

Armor
Chainmail shirt
Field gauntlets and greaves

- Trinkets - Info

Appearance
Overgrown brute Big, broad and bulky. This man had powerful structure with overbroad shoulders and bulgy muscles packed in 7' frame.  Dressed for new age, sporting a grey military uniform consisting of striped gray pants, underjacket and a coat to hide small amounts of chainmail. Tall riding boots to finish the attire and he had the posture of old kings and leaders, despite the new line of clothing. His trusty and only sword carried by his hips and the sleeve of his jacket sporting ViperLily's ensignia. Apparently no longer a mercenary, but a part of merchant military.

A little about my previous experience:

Why I'd like to join:
Well, been the menace of OOC room for quite awhile, with some ICness involved whenever my timezone allows with the eager RP'ers. Fun lot ya alll

Furcadia Name: Noman
Character Name:Noman
Aliases:None
Species: Humanoid
Subspecies/Race/Class: "Deathspawn", much like a death knight
Age: 80
Gender:Male, atleast uses "he" for himself
Height: Exactly 7 foot tall
Fur/Skin Color: Pale or sometimes even green
Hair Color/Style: Bald
Eye Color: Gold
Markings/Scars: None
Appendages: Two legs and a single arm (at the moment)

Demeanor: Docile for a walking corpse, calm and otherwise shortworded unless on a monologue spree
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Profession: Gravekeeper/Drifter

Resistances:
Necromancy, mind control, fire, electricity and to some degree physical harm
Weaknesses:
Silver, holy, anything related to the divine and holy. Certain forms of symbological  magic (think of hexbags and such)
Phobias: None

Statistics:
(I'ma use words to describe, because numbers out of from their designed fields are stupid)
Strength (STR):
-Herculean, capable of astounding feats of strength beyond human capabilities, but still limited  by his body and its caveats. So no benchpressing planets or anything crazy like that
Dexterity (DEX):
-Average, while having good eye-to-eye coordination and can bend like a gymnast if needed, but his dead body is not fast. Considering bit below average in warrior standards when it comes to quickly maneuvering his body.
Constitution (CON):
-Undeadly! Not only having naturally armored, strong frame, but being a sentient zombie means only most decisive attacks hinder him down. Grazing hits and bleeding out are not a factor.
Intelligence (INT):
-Around average in overall. Noman, while capable of learning, is an undead such lacking the living growth potential. His mindworkings can be compared to a computer, using logic to figure and learn and lacking in the abstractness a living minds are capable of (Ex. Eureka moments). However, his memory is quite topnotch, able to remember things clearly centuries ago.
Wisdom (WIS):
-High/Low, Noman in all its technicalities cannot have willpower and his enlightment is not one of a broad, global scale, mostly focused on the power he represents... Also, stuff and stuff here.
Charisma (CHA):
Very low, though he may have appealing points in his speeches. He lacks that karmic magnetism, looks or other charismatic attributes sought by the living.
