A) Rp Experience - I played Furc, mostly in the imaginarium, from 2003-2008, and again from 2010-2011. I have done a lot of Forum RP in my day, but am beginning to miss the real thing! I write a lot of fiction, and Furc is a lovely way for me to have fun with my imagination but also keep it more "alive", and enjoy it with others. This is lovely, and I miss it.

B) I'm interested in joining because the community here seems to be approximately what i'm looking for; Rp focused and with a firm continuum, but with a somewhat flexible universe around that. I like structure but not necessarily too much. I would love to get some ongoing roleplays with people to make new friends, start new storylines, and do some delightful character development.

Details:
Weapons
- None
Armor
 - Bayakasar Rings - Thick, unpolished rings of some dark and tarnished, foreign metal. He wears ten on each arm. They can be rearranged and positioned on his arms for protection, and are of a significant enough hardness to be used for strong armor. They are typically used for prayer and ritual.
 Trinkets
- Coming soon

Abilities
(Natural)
 - Chaotic mind - His madness makes his mind a terrible and overwhelming place; psychic manipulations, attacks, or influences are reduced in their effects, and are painful and taxing for the caster; could cause insanity and enervation.

 - Eyes of madness - The mind behind his eyes is aberrant, neurotic, and a little deranged. He is unable to tune out information, and as a result has almost unnatural perception and attention to detail. He tends to detect sneaking or "stealthed" characters.

(Learned)
 - Lempuk Nam Concentration - The character can quiet his mind and concentrate his mental faculties, removing or reducing the effects of psionic or mental effects, stuns, etc. If done prior to combat, it can increase his perception of weakpoints and flaws in his opponent's fighting technique. The amount of time required for this ability is directly proportional to the effect, and it cannot be done instantly.

- Fire Meditation - A style of meditation involving deep breathing, in which the practitioner raises their body temperature to something near or even beyond that of a severe fever. Helps the character resist ambient cold or even cold magics, as well as disease and other infectious agents by heightening the body's natural defenses. Cannot be done instantly and takes some time to be exercised.

 - Suripak Long Fist - A martial arts discipline based on linear strikes with the hands and fingers, and footwork meant to shift angles of incidence against the opponent. Strikes are often directed to their closet target (usually face, shin, hand/wrist, knee, elbow) to keep the opponent at a maximum distance.

 - The Eight Palisades - A martial arts discipline centered on a framework of eight basic blocks and parries and their associated close-combat strikes with the elbows, knuckles, and knees. Strikes are directed primarily to the groin, solar plexus, throat, eyes, nose, knees, and instep.

 - Diving Eagle Hands - A martial arts discipline involving aerial approaches and strikes, a variety of jumping, rolling, and tumbling techniques for assaulting enemies at a long distance or at a height disadvantage (e.g., mounted opponents). Strikes are typically directed toward the head.

 - Tiger's Tooth and Paw - A martial arts discipline with a variety of savage and rounded strikes with the feet and hands, relying on rotational force and momentum from the torso and legs. Also includes grappling techniques that concentrate on dislocating the shoulders or knees or cutting off blood supply to the brain to induce unconsciousness. Strikes are either blunt and directed toward the joints, head, and heart, or penetrative and directed toward soft tissue organs (liver, kidneys, stomach, bladder).

Appearance
A bizarre juxtaposition of savage and sacred, the human wore the thick, drab woolen robes of a monk's raiment, but the wild, feral intensity in cold, slate-blue eyes and the exotic architecture of his angular face--high cheekbones and a prominent, straight nose--bespoke barbarian origins. He was not a large man, but the heavy lapels of his robe gave hint of a sturdy physique emerging from a faded red sash wrapped thickly about a slender waist. Sleeves terminated in frayed edges around wiry-muscled shoulders, and forearms were concealed by wraps of heavy brown fur bound with twine and coal-black, apparently metallic bangles, which might shift and clink together as he moved. Though fawn-brown hair was shaved meticulously to the sides and back of his skull, a beard hung in two reddish braids from his jutting chin, and a gap in his right eyebrow gave the impression of a pugilist's scar. Though there was a humility and politeness to this strange fellow, something about him seemed out of place in the civilized world.
