Hi, and thanks!

She never shifts (due to her deafness) and I never intend to have her shift - but honestly all anyone would have to do is talk to her or shout in her general direction. She can't hear, and she couldn't mimic normal speech anyway - even if she was shifted, she'd still talk with her normal slur.

Besides that, I would think that basically any and all magical sight reveals her for what she really is to that observer, and with the amount of magical sight available in the city, there's a counter right there.

The consent issue is absolutely no problem by me, though. I can see why that's a thing.

1) We would require you to have ooc consent from whoever Miroir is mimicking, and that that is stated on your app sheet to reduce confusion in the future
2) There would have to be a tell when Miroir is shifted, something that would give her away

Appearance (Furcadia Description): Long, lustrous silver hair contrasted with ashen skin, making the difference between the two occasionally difficult to discern. Her face was slender and delicate, with a very small nose and a thin mouth, almost closer to a mask than a real face as it lacked much detail or any particular distinctive features besides large, white pupil-less eyes, ringed with thick black halos. She usually dressed in a faded grey tunic that had once obviously been black, and a long brown skirt that fell to her knees, along with a long, dusty brown cloak patched in various places with only passable stitching. On her feet she wore sensible black boots, although they were worn thin and scuffed beyond reasonable repair.

She speaks with a very strong slur due to her deafness, but she can be understood with a little effort.

    Description: Miroir is a Changeling - which are very like Tieflings in that they are human of mixed ancestry; where Tieflings have infernal heritage, Changelings' comes from Dopplegangers.
    Miroir can 'polymorph' into any humanoid of her size that she has seen, or back into her true form. However, her equipment does not change with her. If she dies, she reverts to her natural appearance.  She does not gain any racial traits or abilities of her form (such as Darkvision or the Dragonborn's breath weapon), only cosmetic changes. This means she also could not replicate another's hearing - even in a shapechanged form, she would be deaf and unable to fake hearing.

Hey Derp! Thanks for your consideration.

1) The sprite, Faravahar, is sentient and generally pissed off at its situation (and a bit crazy after a few centuries). Its only interaction with the world is through expulsion of its lightning power to inflict harm, which is almost exclusively at Red's discretion.

Red has no soul tied to his body, and the sword, Fravashi, was sealed hundreds of years ago; that seal is deteriorating with extended abuse. Faravahar's soul and powers have started "leaking" into Red. As a result, Red now has some autonomy with respect to the sword's lightning magic. The cost is Red's natural eyesight and an intermingling of the two creatures' personalities. (Red's discipline and training that helped suppress his early feral tendencies is being gradually undone. This is a sub-plot I'd be curious to play out.)

When Red and Fravashi are separated beyond a few meters, Red's lightning power diminishes substantially but not completely. The sword's diminishes only somewhat, but since its soul is divided between the sword and Red, both entities' powers will continue to weaken with time until Faravahar eventually dies (I'm thinking on the order of several weeks). The magical attacks that Red can still muster take longer to prepare, and the more potent ones on the RPR Abilities page are unobtainable. The sprite is a malicious prick and doesn't take kindly to new weilders, though (bzzt), and if stolen Red will likely make his top priority retrieving it.

2+3) I see your points. I've fleshed out the S and R below to help clarify. Even so, the resistance to healing/utility magic is a fair concession and I've included it. In short, the best way to hurt him is to hit him really hard and/or really accurately, and taking Fravashi out of the equation helps.
   Strengths:
      1. Lightning magic
      2. Physical damage output
      3. Straight-line speed

   Resistances:
      1. Destructive magic
         - Magic intended to break down Red's corporeal body; lightning, fire, ice, etc.
         - Tangential effects, like ice's property of restricting motion, are still effective. Fire, used right, can interfere with his thermal vision in lieu of the damage it would normally inflict.
         - The only exception to the above is with respect to lightning. Electricity normally causes burns and musculature to seize and convulse, but because of Red's relationship with the sword this element is almost totally null against him. If Fravashi is absent, the tangential effects are mitigated but not null.
      2. Healing magic
         - Magic intended to restore Red's corporeal body. He's stuck mostly relying on his natural healing factor. If this magic is explicitly holy in properties, it actually causes harm.
         - The only exception to this is Red's ability, "Cautery," outlined on RPR. This only works because it can close wounds by inflicting damage in a targeted way and by using his own brand. Should have included it in the app too, so I will here:
         "Cautery" - He can channel his electrical magic through open wounds and burn them shut. The process is rather painful, despite his resistance to the element, because he's literally turning his offensive magic against himself. The more serious the wound, the more time and energy needed to perform the task and the more painful it is. Mostly useful for repairing wing punctures and minor wounds.

Couple of questions
1) Could you clarify more about the fusing of the lightning sprite and the sword and all that? Is said sprite sapient or sentient? Does distance between your chara and sword affect anything etc
2) Under your strengths and resistances, could you clarify which is which? Is your chara resistant to physical power?
3) Also destructive magic resistance is kind of sweeping. That's an extremely powerful ability, and it needs an equally severe drawback to balance it out; an equally pronounced resistance to healing and utility magic, perhaps?

Tell us a bit about your RP experience to date: Well, I used to RP over at Chatzy (Not Smut, I promise), and was in a two year continuity campaign. Man, it was a blast, and ever since chatzy kinda died down and everything fell to silence, I’ve been looking for a new campaign. I am very familiar with medieval RP, as I also participated in one of those for a while. So total, most likely 4 Years of experience.

    Description: Tenkojima will tend to overthink his choices and consequences, without grasping the bigger picture. This can result in him becoming indecisive.

    Description: Possibly his greatest internal struggle, he must accept those he dislikes and spare those who caused him great harm. This very much twists his emotions, and causes him to lack the firmness he still needs to be a true Kensei.
  • Weakness: Downfall of Courage
    Description: Fear and uncertainty is a natural trait, needed to deter people from taking stupid risks. This does not quite register with Tenkojima, and he will often take risks that are not worth the reward.
  • Weakness: Downfall of Honor
    Description: Lying, Stealing, and otherwise committing immoral acts to gain new leverage in life is sometimes necessary. It can help tremendously, however the Tabaxi does not see it this way. No matter how beneficial something is, he will not proceed with his act if it is against morality. He will also judge those that do such acts unfairly.
  • Weakness: Downfall of Compassion
    Description: This causes Tenkojima to lose sight of his true goal, and he can become discouraged when unable to push through and obstacle.
  • Weakness: Downfall of Honesty
    Description: Something that annoys the Tabaxi the most, he cannot lie knowingly. Simultaneously, he believes that most others follow this code as well. In turn, he is remarkably gullible, and will often silence a room by saying something that he didn’t know to be a secret.
  • Weakness: Downfall of Loyalty
    Description: Most likely the cause of his pending death, Tenkojima will do anything to help his comrades, even if it is too late. Eventually, he will have to realize not everyone can be saved, or he will not save himself.

    Description: His most distinguished weapon is indeed, the Tachi. This is similar to a katana, however it is worn with the cutting edge facing the ground. Is has a sleek, silver colored blade that shows evidence of careful maintenance. It has a light Hamon near the edge of the blade and a Blood Groove near the back. The sheath is light brown, along with the wrapping on the Tsuka. It has a circular Tsuba guard, and the ornament of the weapon bears a bright red tassel.

    Description: The wakizashi is identical to the Tachi, however it has a smaller blade length, less noticeable curve, and no tassel on the ornament. All other features, including the Blood Groove and Hamon are the same.

    Description: Although he prefers the simple life, Tenkojima had to learn proper customs and hierarchies to fulfill his Kensei training. As such, he can distinguish higher ranking nobles or others of importance based on their body language, tone of speech, and surrounding environment.

    Description: As a Kensei, the Tabaxi learned the phrase walk a mile. Than he learned it again, and again, and again. Despite not being too intelligent, he knows basic to advanced navigation, and can locate civilization or other landmarks with relative ease.
