On the eve before Draum (
@Draum ) and Delysia (
@Rose ) Snowe's Renewal Ceremony final touches to the Conservatory were well under way. Lady Ameera and crew had transformed the floral paradise into a romantic getaway for the ceremony as the femme's personal gift to the beloved leopards. The doors to the Conservatory itself remained locked to all visitors that were not invited by the couple themselves or part of Ame's staff. From outside lights could be seen twinkling through white curtains, though little else was able to be gleaned from nosy neighbors and onlookers.
On the day of the event only those specially invited guests would be able to step inside and see the lovely arrangements that had been put in place...
Description: Sheer white fabric hung in a gentle drape across the glass ceiling, spilling down to the floor at the walls edges. Flowers of all color and variety grew in abundance throughout the Conservatory, though many sections appeared new; their green vines, stems and bushes as of yet un-flowered but no longer freshly cut. From overhead trellises on which many flowering vines grew hung glass orbs with open tops, some hanging lower than others. Water sparkled from within while buds of catmint, angelonia, red roses, deer pearl and cymbidium floated on the water's surface. A single white candle protruded from the centers of each globe; the warm flickering dance of their flames reflected on the water and the flowers beneath, casting a glow of pinks, whites and purples onto the world below.
Simple, walnut benches have been provided for seating, each decorated with two white pillows at either corner. On the aisle side of every other bench there draped a small lantern of sorts, the inside decorated in the very same way as those colorful globes hanging from the ceiling. The small stage in the Conservatory's back room is now decorated with hanging flowers to serve as the alter. Lady Ameera had her harp and stool, both normally seen on the stage, removed and set aside. Should time allow for it the doe herself would play a song for her two dearest friends. Bride's Bouquet,
Flower Girl basket, hand-weaved and decorated with sprigs of baby's breath and white roses. The basket itself is filled with red rose petals, as requested.
Male buttoneers (style of image on left) feature the cymbidium orchid, small sprigs of catmint and
deer pearl flowers.
