Thank you Takurasho. Between the charming gaze and the  magic box its like going to a general store that has shoes and a cobbler store.  Charming gaze focuses on rune items that are for protection, that fade after a certain amount of uses. also magic construct like golems, magic keys or bags of holding can be bought. I plan on making single use items that last like the lift gloves that does a certain task. where as you could take a regular set of gloves to the magic box had have them put one of many aspects for the m to do.(least i think i am reading their page right) Least thats how i will be doing items different .. still make a little bit of competition but trying to stay different at the same time. Hope i did not make that two confusing and explained it better.

Just a  drop box for those that have ideas they like to see or ideas of magic constructs that would be worth looking into for the shop. also a nice bit of Q and A would be fine two to help bring more details out for the shop's immersion into the story of Eilieadora

Materials
Metal- High refine mineral compounds last nearly forever but require a good bit of maintenance to keep working properly. (not available for wards or talismans)
Rock/gem- Strong and sturdy that will last through countless uses, the solid rock can be a good setting for lasting items. most last about 70 uses before needy of repair or replacement.
clay- Brittle but damage taken will be chipped away at the item giving the user an ideal item frame of uses. highly recommended for talismans being light to carry and easy to old into custom shapes.(40 uses)
Wood-Single plank of wood finely cut is ideal for charms. they are basic but wood seems to absorb magic and be rather potent for such light material.(15 uses before replacement)
Paper- Good for one use only it is cheap and easy to make hundreds if not thousands if not thousands of items with these. (single use two if your lucky)

Talismans and wards

the damage is reverted to the talisman itself and depending on the material used will be a one time thing or last a few hits.

Protection of the fang- A standard ward charm that prevents the personal to be pierced by harmful objects.
Protection of the spider- A two-fold talisman that protects the user parallelization or slow movements.
Protection of the wisp- A two-fold charm that helps prevent possession of supernatural as well as mind control
Protection of the snake- A standard ward that prevents the user from being afflicted with basic poison based on plant or single animal.

Cures and hex altering /removal

See shop owner Freya to find out more about this complex service that may vary depending on the amount of information provided.(more to come on this later)

Seals and runes

Service that will need to be custom and require the owner or works to put a bit of elbow grease into performing this commissioned task

Seal spirit/ ward- Complex set of runes and charms used to bind those pesky ghosts from entering or trapping them within sturdy fixtures like large rocks, trees, and even small lockboxes. this can also be reversed to keep the spirit world from invading ones home.

Suppressing magic- commonly used with mages that have strong magic in their blood that can be passed down to their children. a small set of painted on runes can dampen magic abilities for children till they are ready to start learning of their gifts. also used on placing around on walls to dampen caster use in the affected area.

Charge runes- Stones that have glyph of power placed in them from different elemental planes such as fire ice and water. These work well for those more shamanistic in nature to power their spells further as a focal point or a quick recharge.

Magic transfer/Drain- A custom object the user use to pull magic power from one item to the next. can be made into a glyph on the wall to drain magic into itself to make a magic void zone when properly powered. Also, makes a great tool for those with the nack for powering runes.

Anchor stones- Stones with glyph bindings to certain golems to be held by user that wish to personal via by golem's owner

Magic construct and helpful tools

All objects will need to have instructions followed for proper maintenance and care. See store owner for more questions.(more to be added later.)

toy/messenger golems- Often in the forms of bird or small ferrets these little guys are bound to a single or set of people to be a bit of company or even deliver mail or personal notes to those that by anchor stones.

Lifting gloves- Sown together gloves with a small brass ring along the back with a wind rune carved into it. tapping twice with turn the power of this item on and cutting at least 175 lbs worth in an object when lifting. very popular with dock workers.

Gazing Eye- A tower or stand placed in a fixed location, adorn by a small gazing ball top of it. The ball is covered in small tunes that fade out to a small glow when activated.  This will come with a  custom trinket  that the user can look into at any time and  peer into the line of sight of the orb by simple moving the trinket in the desired direction

Lenses of Clarity- round glasses or half moon style with runes etched into the frames. These specs help users with poor eyesight as well allow vision through simple illusions like basic glamour or hidden doors. Great for adventurers that have trouble with mimic boxes!

Bag of holding- A thick spider silk woven bag  with rune encrusted brass plats woven into the fabric along the side. The bag is able to expand and hold at least 200 lb worth of items. very popular with adventures of those in the business of moving.

The Charming Gaze / The Charming Gaze
« on: April 11, 2016, 03:20:18 AM »
A new shop coming to town hurray what lays with in well step inside and find out! after many bad puns the shop The Charming Gaze is ready to make its mark.(big thanks to Takursho for aiding me in ideas. still working on full inventory just flushing out a basic look.)
Inside the shop and work area
The out side of the the shop would mask the hidden wonders with in side  and  a pleasant drawing of a feral fox having tea on a stump carved into the frame of the door. Stepping inside the shop would look blank until you step inside. the first step would land you over a large glyph that surges is magic power over patrons. those less magic base might feel a slight lock in the joints as they are adjusted to the ward and  while those more magic inclined would feel the rush of a scan and adjustment to the illusion set before them, and perhaps a bit of suppressing magic in play? Tables lines in glass cases line with all sorts of wooden stone and even geode looking talismans stacked neatly to the left and the right  tables with clay, stone and even metal, figures line the tables many of them birds and a few smaller ones that of little weasel breed. Those that looked to the right pass the door was a small table with two seats and lavish little hookah siting there which would explain the smell of thick herbal mix in the air.  The back table had more raised display cases filled with paper charms and talismans of different kinds seat neatly by a brass bell on the right side of the sales desk.  a blanket space in the middle for the patrons to bring items they wanted and  to the left a large stone tower that resembles that of a rook chess peace. A So glowing orb rests upon the top of the tower and gives off a faint feeling of watching those about the room . The door leading down stairs to the work area has a large bear carved into it pushing lightly on a tree. the cobble stones leading down would be well cut making sure no one slips on the way down glowing runes along the sides keeping the place lit and torches not needed.   near the bottom of the stairs is a  a set of different runes arching into a large door  yet the middle was just plane stone. a single massive glyph with a hexagonal marker around it in the middle of the room  has large rook like pillars on each point of the hexagon.  Toward the back is a few small chest and tables with blank spaces and books. One large table has is covered by one single massive open book that glows  with swirling magics. each page contains different runes  and patterns and the shift of magic changes with each page is turn to reveal a different sign of power.
