A courier wearing a blue and black sash with white fastens appears on behalf of Gendarmery. He holds in a basket 8 lbs of cooked crab meat (no shell), cured and chilled to keep from spoiling, as well as 2 lb of dried fish. The Courier once greeted would deliver it and a hand written thank you note to the orphanage personnel for everything they do. He would then take his leave.

A letter would arrive at Gendarmery HQ later that eve: a notice of gratitude bearing many signatures (and smudges of grime). Each orphan scribbled their names, some of which were composed of messy symbols vaguely resembling letters, and in the bottom corners were wedged the signatures of the matrons as well as that of their grateful benefactor, Dralt.

Orphans could be heard belting praises of the guards from the streets that eve, Safe Anchorage windows ajar to evacuate the seafood smells, grubby hands raised and grins spewing butter. Delightful.
